Girls Basketball Player of The Year

Ok so let me start this off from the beginning. My newspaper, The Beacon News is moving into a new building today, so for the past few days all of our gear has been boxed up and the movers have taken it all away. Needless to say that our wonderful sports department decided to have us shoot the athletes of the year in the middle of all of this. I was given the first one, Kyra Watson of West Aurora. It was a lot of fun but I had the most ghetto setup ever. I pieced together a light kit, got to the school and the pocket wizards (used to trip the lights), both had dead batteries. The lights stands didn't have the brass part on top, so I could mount the lights on the stands. I ended up tipping some garbage cans over and using them as the stands. But, anyhow we had a lot of fun and I made a photo that I like.
