Special Olympics

Kristina gets ready to head down state for the Special Olympics State Meet. This sweet girl is nothing but smiles. A tender little "thank you" to her mom as she served up chocolate chip pancakes, Kristina's favorite, showed me instantly the love flowing through their Oswego home.

Vaughn Murders

Three Oswego children and their mother were found shot to death lastweek in a sport utility vehicle parked just off Interstate 55, and the father was being questioned, authorities said.
The Will County Coroner's office identified the victims as 34-year-old Kimberly Ellen Vaughn and her children - Abigayle Elizabeth Vaughn, 12, Cassandra Ellen Vaughn, 11, and Blake Philip Vaughn, 8, all of Oswego. Here is another sad story to add to the collection. I tried to find something happy about the situation, and to my luck the photo of the little boy sitting in the grass in his yard that backs up to the Vaughn home, became center piece story.

Hanging with Uncle Troy

So I got to spend the past few days hanging out with the greatest uncle anyone could ask for (except for the fact that he drinks Michelob Ultra. whimp!) my Uncle Troy. On Saturday we went to the NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet.
Im now addicted to the smell of Nitro! Cant wait to do it again.
